<H2>DESCRIPTION</H2><PRE>
<EM>Last</EM> Searches backward through the login administration file (default is
/<EM>usr</EM>/<EM>adm</EM>/<EM>wtmp</EM>), printing information about previous logins and reboots.
During a long search, the SIGQUIT signal (CTRL-\) causes <EM>last</EM> to display
how far back it has gone; it then continues.
