You should also be aware of how to change your password. The command
|
|
<tt>passwd</tt> will prompt you for your old password, and your new password.
|
|
It will ask you to reenter the new password for validation. Be careful
|
|
not to forget your password---if you do, you will have to ask the
|
|
system administrator to reset it for you. (If you're the system
|
|
administrator, see Section <A HREF="node166.html#secmanageusers">4.4</A>.)
