Before we begin, it is important to note that all file and command names
|
|
on a UNIX system are case-sensitive (unlike operating systems such as MS-DOS).
|
|
For example, the command <tt>make</tt> is very different than <tt>Make</tt> or
|
|
<tt>MAKE</tt>. The same hold for file and directory names.
